50 disses hip-hop kings P. Diddy and Jay-Z

Posted on August 20, 2007 - 50 Cent

The rapper - real name Curtis Jackson - has no desire to be friends with the
two Music moguls.

When asked if he ever feels competitive towards Diddy and Jay-Z’s business
ventures, he replied: “Nah. I don’t even like them.”

The hip-hop star refused to retract his words when it was suggested they
could be misconstrued, saying: “I don’t give a f**k.”

50 insisted he “respected” Diddy but won’t be phoning him to ask for advice.
He told hip-hop website SOHH.com: “In business, I respect what he does. But
if we liked each other, we’d call each other to talk for no reason. And me
and Puffy, we don’t have conversations.”

Diddy and Jay-Z are not the first to feel 50’s wrath. He has also been
involved in a war of words with Kanye West.

The two hip-hop heavyweights are due to do battle in the charts next month
when their new albums - 50’s ‘Curtis’ and West’s ‘Graduation - are both
released on September 11.

50 is so confident he will win the sales war, he has threatened to quit
Music if his rival outsells him.

He said: “Let’s raise the stakes. If Kanye West sells more records than 50
Cent on September 11, I’ll no longer perform Music. I’ll write Music and
work with my other artists, but I won’t put out any more solo albums.”
