New Release: Nelly Furtado single ‘Do It’ and Live Concert DVD

Nelly Furtado is set to release ‘Do It’ on November 19th through Geffen, the sixth single to be taken from her phenomenal album ‘Loose’, which has now sold over 6million copies worldwide and turned a massive three times platinum here in the UK.

‘Loose’ is the biggest selling album worldwide by a female recording artist this year. Meanwhile, Nelly Furtado’s total career album sales to date have passed 12 million units worldwide, following 2000’s Whoa, Nelly! (4.9 million) and 2003’s Folklore (1.7 million).

2007 has bought Nelly continued success in all areas including a Grammy nomination for ‘Promiscuous’, a Brit Award for Best International Female and another number one record in her collaboration with Justin Timberlake and Timbaland on ‘Give It To Me’ along with the success of ‘Maneater’, ‘Promiscuous’, ‘All Good Things’ and ‘Say It Right’.

Nelly also played a sell out UK tour earlier this year as part of her massive ‘Loose’ world tour which covered five continents.
Fans will be able to purchase the DVD ‘Loose: The Concert’ from November 19th, which includes lots of extra features and a bonus CD. In July, Nelly played at the Concert for Diana at London’s Wembley Stadium.

Nelly’s performance was undoubtedly a highlight of the show and was seen by a global TV audience of many millions. To top it all, Nelly makes her directorial debut with the fresh Video to accompany ‘Do It’.
